Hola parte iha AGORA FOOD STUDIO nia kompetisaun design arte tinan 2018 ba kafe packaging. Hatama ita-boot nia design nebe bele hateten sai "HAI-HU" no ita-boot bele manan $100! Kualker pesoál bele aplika antes loron 28 fulan Jullu 2018.


TEMA "HAI-HU" SAIDA:
HAI-HU mak liafuan ida husi lian Mambae katak hakru'uk. Siknifika katak husi kuu kafe, prosesu kafe to'o iha serve kafe sempre ho hakru'uk ho respeita.


KAFE BARISTA'S BLEND SAIDA:
Tinan-tinan, AGORA FOOD STUDIO nia ekipa barista (kafe professionale sira) kria kombinasaun kafe kualidade nebe mak faz parté ba spesialidade, uza kafe Timor oi-oin hodi hetan sabor uniku no gostu. Tinan kotuk (2017) ami nia tema mak "Loi" nebe liafuan ida husi Mambae mos, signifika katak hili kafe musan ho kuidadu, hili ho liman deit hodi hetan kafe nebe kualidade aas los. 


OINSÁ AMI UZA MANAN NAIN NIA DESIGN
Manan nain nia design ami sei uza ba AGORA FOOD STUDIO Barista's Blend kafe pakaging ba tinan ida ne to'o tinan oin tempu koleta kafe (bele haree foto packaging nian).

Wainhira hatama ona design sira ba iha ami nia kompetisaun, ne'e siknifika katak ita-boot aseita ona ho ami nia kriteria/lei, inklui permite ami atu uza ita-boot nia design sira ba iha AGORA FOOD STUDIO nia kafe pakaging nebe ami faan no atividades promosaun nian.  


OINSÁ ATU KOMPETE:
1. Kor nebe mak uza hodi design tenke ho kor moris.

2. Kompetisaun ne’e nakloke ba ema hotu-hotu, ba kualker jenéru, idade no nasionalidade.

Come participate in AGORA FOOD STUDIO's coffee packaging design competition for 2018! Enter a design that best says the theme "HAI-HU" and you can win $100! Anyone can enter, submit your design before 28 July 2018.

WHAT DOES "HAI-HU" MEAN:
HAI-HU is a word from Mambae language that means "to bow with respect" because when you harvest coffee, process coffee, serve coffee - at each step of the process we bow with respect to both the plant and to the people we share our coffee with.  


WHAT IS THE BARISTA'S BLEND?
Every year, the Barista Team at AGORA FOOD STUDIO creates a specialty quality blend of coffee with beans sourced from parts of Timor-Leste, to come up with a combination that is both unique and great in flavour. 
Last year 2017, our theme was "Loi" which is also a Mambae word for "hand-picked or hand-sorted." That word was chosen because our baristas painstakingly select each bean - only the best with no defects - are picked to create their Barista's Blend. 


WHAT WILL WE DO WITH THE WINNING DESIGN?
The winning design will be used on AGORA FOOD STUDIO's packaging for Barista's Blend this year and up until next year's new coffee harvest (you can see our silver coffee packaging in the photo).

When you have submitted your designs into our competition, this means you accept our conditions, including giving your permission for us to use your design on our coffee packaging which we sell to the general public and our promotional activities. 


CONDITIONS
1. In your design, use bright, strong colours. 

2. This competition is open to everyone, of all ages, genders and nationalities. 

3. You can submit up to two (2) designs to our email: timorlestefoodlab@gmail.com

4. Competition ends 10am, Saturday 28 July 2018.

5. Write your complete name, age, email address and telephone number that we can contact you if you win. 

6. Give a short description that explains your design.

7. Do not send a file larger than 5MB. We prefer jpg. and pdf. file formats only. 

8. Entrants must submit their own original work, not someone else's designs. It cannot be a copy of something from the internet, social media, or photos or designs that are already in the public.

9. Entrants grant their permission to AGORA FOOD STUDIO to reproduce their designs for promotional materials, including on our Facebook page, websites, banners, publications and business products for sale.

10. The winner will be contacted by telephone or email on 1 August 2018. 


CRITERIA FOR JUDGING THE WINNER
Design entries will be assessed by a panel from the AGORA FOOD STUDIO team based on the following criteria:

1. Designs that are relevant to the theme of the competition, including design originality, creativity, and quality.

2. Artistic quality (use of colour/tone,expression of emotion/concept/ideas, etc).
